Sue Foley

Westpac New Zealand
Director Corporate Affairs

Sue Foley is one of New Zealand’s most well respected corporate affairs executives and an award-winning television journalist. She joined Westpac from Massey University where she was Assistant Vice Chancellor, External Affairs, responsible for its marketing and communications and a member of its Senior Leadership Team. Prior to Massey University, Sue was General Manager Corporate Affairs of Toll NZ from 2003 – 2008, a period of significant change and public scrutiny for the organisation with the changes of ownership from Tranz Rail, and then to the New Zealand Government. She has also held senior roles across government, television and public relations including Chief of Staff of the Opposition (2001 – 2003), Chief of Staff TV3 News and Senior Consultant at a leading public relations consultancy. Sue’s corporate expertise and personal values would make her a valuable board member.

Chris Litchfield

Coca Cola Amatil
Managing Director

Chris Litchfield has 22 years’ experience within Coca-Cola Amatil. He began his career as part of a graduate program after completing his BComm in Accounting and Economics. He went on to successfully work his way up through a number key sales and commercial roles before becoming the General Manager of Sales and Marketing, a role he held from 2007-2014. Chris has a proven track record of strong customer management, new business acquisition and commercial planning and recently progressed through to his current role of MD Coca-Cola Amatil (N.Z.) Ltd. Chris is dedicated to leading diversity at Coca Cola Amatil and being a leading force for change in the New Zealand FMCG sector businesses. Chris’ leadership qualities and his personal commitment to diversity would make him a valued board member.

Michael Barnett

Chief Executive (Current Chairman of the EEO Trust)

Michael Barnett is Chief Executive of the Auckland Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and a Director of both the Auckland Chamber and NZ Chambers of Commerce & Industry.
Michael is the current chairman of the Equal Employment Opportunities Trust. He is truly committed to our vision of creating workplaces that are better by diversity and it is this commitment that informs all of his decisions as Trust chairman.

Sarah Halliday

Geneva Elevator
General Manager

Sarah Halliday has 20 years’ experience in the disability sector, as well as a stint as an ACC Case Manager. She is involved on a daily basis with working with a team of people focused on finding employment for people with disabilities, solo parents, and those returning to work with mental health issues. She has a working knowledge of what is happening in employment and the ongoing challenge to engage employers with diversity in the workplace.

Neil Porteous

St Johns NZ
General Manager Northern region

Neil Porteous is General Manager - Northern Region, for St John where he is responsible for the delivery of the emergency ambulance service, community programmes and fundraising for the Northern region of New Zealand. Neil joined St John from the Elevator Group where he had been in the CEO seat for almost four years. Prior to embarking on his career in the not-for-profit sector, Neil worked at senior levels for Vodafone New Zealand. His latter role as Director of Human Resources, where he successfully implemented a number of diversity programmes. A trustee of the EEO Trust since 2010 Neil says his work history, personal values and experience in governance roles ensures that he is a strong fit with the aims of the trust.

Jo Wills

Independent Director

Jo Wills, Director, is a government relations expert and business strategy advisor and facilitator. Jo has extensive experience of working with global and New Zealand corporate clients and advising boards, including holding a general management role with Fonterra for eight years. She is a member of an advisory group to the Business and Advisory Committee of the OECD, a current Board Member of the EEO Trust and is on the committee of The Wellington Club. Jo has already shown her commitment to workplace diversity in New Zealand as a serving member of our board since 2010.

Kylie Mooney

Chief Operating Officer

Kylie Mooney has had 6 years’ experience working in a governance role of a not for profit organisation. During this time she actively contributed on the Board, working hard on a number of key portfolios including HR, Finance and Strategy. Kylie is highly adept at working with all levels of businesses, sitting on Boards, working with business owners, executive and senior management, and collaborating with mid-management and junior teams. Kylie has demonstrated her experience as a leader; currently she is heading a team of 62 people across a broad range of operational functions including HR, finance, and IT. Her expertise and personal belief that people are the core of a business make Kylie an excellent contender for the board of trustees.
